"Radio, Radio...."

I’ve managed to get one of my songs some regular radio plays….not because it’s a great and worthy track, more because it’s being used in a radio advertising campaign. But it all counts eh

Read all about it....

They say that everyone has a book in them.

The first of a trilogy of children books featuring the adventures of Tyler and his dog Smiler was published on 7th October 2022 by DBDMS and is available on Amazon for the princely sum of 0.89p.

Why write a book? Partly because its something I’ve always threatened to do but never got around to putting pen to paper, and partly to fill the creative void as I take a year or so off from recording new music.

I’m hoping that the two other titles will be published sometime in 2024.

Top 5....

Four lists of five musicians here that I admire and have influenced me. You won’t find any smooth crooner vocalists here, or flash Harry guitarists. Orthodox singers are purely a natural talent who, in the main annoy me by not having to work to get results. I find 100mph guitar solos without melody.

There’s no drummers here either, basically because although I’ve dabbled for years on drum kits and programmed many drum machines, I’ve only recently owned and regularly played a kit, using it for recordings for only a few years. It didn’t seem right to list favourite drummers somehow.
